The painful tragedy of Army Public School Peshawar eight years have passed

 Remembering the 16th of December 2014, the soul trembles even today, that morning 6 terrorists entered the Army Public School in Peshawar, took the students and teachers hostage and fired indiscriminately, brutal beasts who kept taking the lives of those who came in front.

As soon as the incident was reported, the security forces surrounded the school and killed 6 suicide bombers of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan armed with automatic weapons after a lengthy operation.

The school was cleared after more than 6 hours of operation, 150 people including 132 students, teachers, and staff were martyred in the tragedy. A plan was made and the terrorists were wiped out through Operation Zarb Azab in North Waziristan.

4 terrorists involved in the attack were sentenced to death in December 2015. The then-army chief confirmed these accused were convicted by military courts.

December 16, 2014 is a painful day in the history of Pakistan, in which the whole nation sinks in pain along with the families of the martyred children.
